I have tried several aftershaves and bottles of eau de toilette including several designer brands, and this is by far the nicest. it is the only one which gets random comments from friends and colleagues, and is easily my girlfriend's favourite. This has a very pleasant perfume, which lasts all day, with a subtle and attractive smellrecommended

4Expensive, but worth it.
By Frank Hollis
After having a cheap folding stool collapse under me, depositing me into a gorse bush and nearly removing vital parts of my anatomy, I decided I needed something that would support my weight. The Walkstool promised to be the solution and it has, indeed, turned out to be almost perfect. Its great when out birdwatching and at festivals. Its light weight and small, collapsed, size means I'll take it with me if I suspect I may need it.

5Walkstool Comfort 65
By B. Cooke
These are very expensive compared with the £2.50 El-Cheapo mini stools you get from camping shops, but largely speaking you get what you pay for. The Walkstool is made in Sweden and is very good quality. This stool extends to nearly double its storage length which gives a much more comfortable sitting height. Similarly, the large area of seat material also greatly improves comfort. Although I rated it 5-stars, it is not perfect. If you extend the legs too quickly, you can overcome the end-stop and the leg detaches. This is a minor inconvenience as the legs are designed to be removable so they can be replaced if need be. Spare legs are available - at least from the manufacturers. The only worrying aspect is that the instructions warn about uneven loading of the legs on uneven ground, which could cause a leg to bend (and therefore need replacing). I do not know how easy it is to suffer this mishap as I have always been careful in this respect. The loads that this stool can take (250kg, if I remember correctly) is vastly better than the El-Cheapo stools mentioned earlier, one of which suffered a catastophic failure of the seat material, neatly dumping me backwards onto the ground. This incident is what led me to investigate better stools, and so far I have not regretted buying a Walkstool.

3Not so comfortable
By Jeremy John Legge
Folds neatly into my bag when not in use. But to actually sit on it, I find it rather "tight". Still, it serves it's purpose for the 60 minute journey when there is never a seat available on the train.

4Solid, durable and easy to put together
By EC
This table was genuinely easy to put together. We were missing a bolt and the seller send us one in the post straight away, no questions asked. Great service! The table itself is not beautiful; heavy, basic, draw hard to pull out for the under 2 year olds. Having said that, these features make it a good buy for 5 years and under. I've had three 18 month olds crawling over it at the same time, plus a roudy crowd of 4 year old scootering into it. No paint chips or collapse so far.The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is its quite low. If your children are tall or 5 years and over, you might find this limited.

5Love it!!
By Tracy W
We got this for our son's 2nd birthday after doing quite alot of research on all the avaliable tables. It arrived 2 days after we ordered it and it took my self and my 10 year old 20 mins to put together. The instructions are extremely clear (wish all assembly instructions were written by them) and the supplied fittings were all there. My son has climbed onto it to look out of the window and it did not move at all and he is a big lad for his age and has plenty of space for all his trains. Alot of people have mentioned the drawer sticks but we have found no issues with it at all and my son manages easily. All in all a fantastic buy and the quality is what you would expect from Melissa and Doug.

5Dymo LabelWriter 450
By Yvonne Ashton
This is fantastic to print off labels. I use to print them off using the label sheets in my printer, which is no good when only one or a few is needed! also time consuming. This is a FAST, RELIABLE and great label printer to have and doesn't take up much room, on top of that it gives you a generous amout of cable length to place the printer in a more convenient place. It comes with the appropriate software and a small, but generous amount roll to start you off straight way. It would be great if they have a website to download more features for this great label printer. I would recommend this to anyone

5It does what it should do no more no less
By Largeduck
I like products like this, you get them out of the box and within minutes they are setup and working.Installing the supplied software on my MAC was a breeze and it works. The software can configure the labels to print all sorts of things like barcodes and graphics but I wanted a label printer and it does that just fine.Unless you are printing 100s of labels not sure why anyone would want the faster turbo version as this is plenty fast enough. So if you want a label printer to print labels this does the job and it does it well. I like machines like this that do what they are supposed to do without a whole load of fussing about.

5great labels easy installation
By WEETADS
I purchased this and have been delighted with it.As a teacher, I use it to type out labels with the children's writing criteria which I then stick into their jotters before the children begin to write. It saves endless amount of time and the children love knowing what is expected of them in their tasks. I also got £50 cashback from dymo which made it even better. A great resource with endless possibilities. It was also very easy to install and use. It prints so fast you have to stop the spiral of labels from covering your desk!!

5The perfect tripod head - excellent control
By Nosefacé
This is a wonderful head that gives you great control. The movements and rotations are extremely smooth, with good friction adjustment. And it's very useful to have the "return to neutral" option. Aesthetically the head looks great and very smooth, and is made of very high quality material. I use this for my Canon 550D dSLR with various lenses and it works like magic :)I bought this head along with the Manfrotto 055XPROB Tripod Legs, and the Manfrotto padded bag for this set of legs. When the head is attached to the legs, and tilted upwards, it all fits into the bag perfectly.

5Forget rings of power, this camera is my precious!
By D. Stroud
I originally owned a canon powershot and although it was good it certainly had its limitations.I bought this Panasonic DMC-FZ50EB-S back in 2006 and thought i'd place a review on here. I've taken it on all my holidays since then and am over the moon with the results. A little patience goes a long way. I started on the auto setting but found many images were slightly over exposed (to my eye anyway). I later started using the P setting and adjusting other settings myself. The results, even if i do say so myself, can often be breathtaking. This is a good camera for doing wonderfully close up work and portraits to vast landscapes. Adjusting the light settings (cloudy sunny etc) can give much better results too. I found this out with much experimenting whilst taking pictures. It is also good for moving water shots, as you're able to adjust the shutter speed by the easy rotation of a dial. I've had the camera nearly two years and still find the images are getting better. It gives you a very rewarding learning curve, assuming like me you enjoy getting better and better results as you go.If you want a good all round camera but can't quite afford an SLR then this is the choice for you. You won't be disappointed with the results.

5Remarkable!
By J. R. Rogers
For the last 8 months this camera has travelled everywhere with me and every day I find some new facility that it has to offer. As an ex-professional photographer who was forced to carry an assortment of attachments around with me. I cannot believe that people will spend a lot of money on SLR cameras when most things required are in this camera if you take the trouble to find out.If you have the good fortune to have access to 'Photoshop', the sky is the limit to what is possible.

4Great camera
By D. R. Davis
The first digital camera I've ever owned, and this camera is really great - much better than I thought it would be for the price - it's been everywhere with me since I got it and can handle snow, low light, bright light, fast action and everything else I've tried - amazing. Some of my friends with Digital SLR cameras don't manage to take half as good shots!

5Panasonic NV-GS60EB Great budget camcorder
By David Hambrook
When buying this Camcorder I looked at the JVC GR-D728EK and the Sony DCR-HC27E.I discarded the JVC as it had very poor white balance, meaning the colures it produced were not faithful to the image being shot, the tape noise was picked up by the microphone in such a way that it was very distracting when watching the recorded video, and in-doors/low light the images lost their colure definition and became very grainy with the auto focus not working particularly effectively. When I handled the Sony and the Panasonic in store they both appeared NOT to suffer from the above foibles of the JVC. I purchased the Panasonic so I cannot comment further than on the Sony but can comment as follows on the Panasonic. The lens on the Panasonic is a 30 X Optical zoom (which is very good for camcorder standards) with an electronic image stabilising function which does contribute to reducing camera shake but will not, understandably, eradicate it. There is a however a fitting on the base of the camera to allow you to mount it on a tripod should you wish to.The main differentiator with the focal length on this camera in relation to the JVC & Sony above is that it has a very wide angle lens meaning that more will fit in to the shot, ideal for filming indoors where it may be hard to move far enough away from the subject matter to fit it all in or when filming scenery where you want to fit in a wider vista. In low light the images are still very good, the auto focus is still effective and the white balance is faithful. The camera comes equipped with a low light function (activated manually) to take filming down to 2 LUX (as much light generated by 2 candles at 1 meter) giving the ability to film in near darkness.Whilst there is a photo feature for taking stills, this simply records seven seconds of still footage on to the tape as opposed recording to a jpeg image on to a SD card, or such like, as would be done on a stills camera. The camera has a full auto setting and also manual over rides to cover focus, exposure compensation, and pre-programmed scene (sport, snow, beach, portrait etc), white balance, backlight compensation, plus others.I found the camera a little larger than the Sony & JVC (still very small), which for me made it more comfortable to handle, with not too many buttons and all in the right place. The Panasonic felt well made with a colour viewfinder (with dioptre) and a 2.5-inch LCD flip out screen (will swivel through 180 degrees for filming yourself etc) both are of perfectly good quality and deliver clear images.A sturdy/stubby joystick on the rear of the camera handles navigation for the menu & play functions. I actually found this very effective in use.You can out put the audiovisual signal by way of a DV Out (No In), Mini USB and composite jack plug (Video, Audio left & right) but there is no S-Video. There are also no DV or USB leads supplied with the camera only Jack Plug. There is also no editing software supplied for your PC.To see a thorough over view of the product you van down load the user manual from the Panasonic web site, www.panasonic.co.uk.I have thoroughly enjoyed using this camera. It has excellent image quality and low light handling for a budget camcorder. It starts up quickly and is simple to operate as well as reproducing images faithfully. For the money I would be happy to give this product 5 stars.

5Great budget camcorder
By AJ Nicholls
Good points are excellent, vivid, accurate outdoor colours, effective image stabilisation and totally intuitive usage. The night vision facility is a poor gimmick, but who wants this anyway? No external microphone input, but again, you can live without that. Handling, build quality, weight and range of optical zoom are all great. Bought Amazon's cheapest firewire card and lead for my PC at less than a tenner, so downloading for editing is a doddle. Make sure you have a big hard drive for the video files. The guy who thought it worse than his mobile phone cannot be serious!

5Excellent value
By Mr. M. J. Gilligan
Just bought this from my local Sainsbury's who have these for £118 - just a little cheaper than Amazon at the moment 1/03/08.The value is excellent - understand this is not a top of the line High definition camcorder it is a basic easy to use, easy to carry piece of kit. Certainly very easy to get both this and a small digicam in the same easy to carry bag.The picture quality is more than acceptable - though noticeably poorer than the previous Panasonic camcorder I had but that cost a lot more than a £120!!. It is certainly better than indicated in a previous review claiming it is worse than a mobile phone - I'm afraid that is very wide of the mark.Works a treat with the video capture function included in Windows Vista though for some reason I get an irritating sound 'click' right at the end of the capture. It only happens there not on any stops or pauses in the video - it is not on the tape itself so I am working on the basis this is a PC/Vista issue and nothing at all to do with the camera. It is easy to edit out using Windows movie maker so its no big deal.Note as in common with many other camcorders you do not get a Fire-wire cable included - they don't cost the earth, even when buying a good quality one so I don't really count this as an issue. I had one anyway so not a problem for me.The controls are a breeze, particularly the thumb operated joystick from which you control all the main functions. The only neg I can find is the start up time when in recording mode - it does seem to take longer than my previous Panasonic model which served me well for nearly ten years.I am amazed at how small camcorders have become - even DV ones like this - my previous one was significantly bulkier than this dinky little thing. Any smaller and I would think it would be quite difficult to handle - the size is perfect for my largish hands. You also get a number of pre-set scene options which is handy or you can just point and shoot. All in all I am very happy so far - it is early days but I remain a big fan of Panasonic products which I general find to be durable and reliable - I'm hoping for the same with this.

5Probably the best camera I've ever owned
By Planet G
This camera was a replacement for my Olympus C70 Zoom which was a great camera apart from its performance in low light, and a rather complicated menu system.I read a lot of mixed reviews about this camera, but decided to purchase it in the end, as there aren't many alternatives around if you want a highly programmable digital compact with a big zoom lens, image stabiliser and ASA from 80 to 1600. I've noticed that the mixture of reviews tend to fall into two categories - the reviewers who love this camera have never owned a Canon Powershot before, whilst the reviewers who aren't so impressed with the G7 tend to be previous Canon Powershot owners. I am in the former category, so am highly impressed with my new G7. I have found it very hard to take poor pictures with the G7 - my images have all been sharp, very well exposed, and in the main (800-1600 ASA excepted), free of noise, and with almost perfect colour balance. As I've had bad experiences in the past with the proprietary software that comes with cameras, the Canon software has stayed unloaded and in the box, so I won't comment on the software. The Good ( a long list) in my opinionSuperb build quality for a compactBrilliantly bright and sharp LCD viewing screen with low reflectivityImage stabiliser was giving me a good 3-stops lower without any apparent blurringFast start up timeExcellent low-light performanceWell balanced built in flash for a compact, with a mounting for an external flash if requiredViewfinder (seems to be getting rare now on digital compacts)Large selection of pre-programmed scene-modesShutter and Aperture priorityOutstanding Macro modeSelection ring on back of camera is really excellent for shooting in programmable modesThe BadWith the lens in wide angle, you can see the lens through the viewfinder (this is disconcerting)Only comes with 32MB SD card - best thing to do with this is chuck it outThe manuals aren't exactly the easiest to navigate through - a "basic" manual, and a comprehensive manual, with infuriating omissions in both - meaning you need both manuals on hand sometimes..The LCD's reflective screen looks great, but is prone to fingerprinting - I wouldn't be surprised if Scotland Yard used the coating to take fingerprints! You need to carry a spectacle cloth and be careful! The large LCD cramps controls on the back of the camera.Lack of RAW format images - not an issue for me thoughAll in all, I don't think this camera would disappoint anyone who hasn't used a Canon Powershot before - I think it's easily the best camera I've ever owned, including 35mm SLR's and my beloved Olympus, with bags of features, and extremely high quality results, but if you already owned a Canon Powershot, and if the lack of RAW images is a discriminator, you should probably read other reviewers' comments- I'm a convert to this wonderful camera!

5Canon G7 - Supplementary Information
By Zak Ventis
I had a Pentax Optio 550 until Christmas festivities damaged it beyond repair! Seeking a suitable replacement which allowed me to get more creative I ended up with a shortlist of 2: the Canon G7 and the Panasonic LX2. The G7 won and I have no regrets. Nor am I going to add much to the reviews above, particularly that by 'Planet-G'. It is a superb bit of kit, and after three weeks of constant use, I am still discovering new features!Anyway, the reason for writing this is to emphasise a few points and make one recommendation:a. A spare battery is essential - once the low power warning comes on I get about 30 non-flash shots before it is completely dead. And it is probably best to stick with genuine Canon batteries.b. By comparison with its Mk II predecessor, the SanDisk 1 GB EXTREME III card significantly improves the SD card read/write speed.c. The User Guide comes as a .pdf file - print it out (2 pages per A4) and spend some time reading it with the camera in your hands - essential!d. Finally, I spent some time looking for a suitable case (and wasted some money too!). Eventually I found one which is an exact fit with a front compartment just big enough to house a spare battery and memory card. Nicely lined with a soft material and a non-slip base, it is the Samsonite Trekking Premium DF10 Camera Case (available from Amazon for £9.15) - great case and good value.I hope this is of some use and no, I don't work for Amazon!

5A perfect camera for the majority
By S. A. Hodge
I read all the reviews here plus a load of expert ones before I decided to buy this camera. I could see that a few people have some niggles, whilst the pro's compare it with the G6 and whilst recommending it, are disappointed at the loss of 'RAW' amongst a few other things. But generally, everyone says its a good camera.I've had it a week now and I think it is a great camera. I'm used to compacts and if you want to use this as a point and shoot camera (and contrary to an earlier review), this is ideal and very easy to use - turn it on, press the button. And the results will most probably be better than you are used to with a compact. Reviewing photo's is easy with a big button for that. The LCD is probably about the best you can get. All the controls and functions are very good and simple to use. The video facility is simple too - press the button to start, you don't need to hold the button down, press again to stop. The optical zoom is great - very ample and no loss of quality as I used to get with the digital zoom on a previous compact. Very solid camera and nothing flimsy on it like you normally get somewhere on a compact. The niggles people had in the reviews are almost unnoticeable to me - very minor. Yes you can see the lens through the viewfinder if you really think about it (I didn't notice it at all until I read the reviews on here again and then checked), but then its got a viewfinder - which is rare in a compact. You have to appreciate that its packed with so many features but nevertheless, it is as easy to handle and use as any compact I have had. Then there's also all the features that appeal to the more serious photographer too. It's like a mini SLR so is ideal for me to experiment if I want to. Because of this, it evidently draws attention from pro's who want a compact. The problem there is that in their reviews, they cannot help compare it with the capabilities of their expensive SLR's - or with the G6. One reviewer was too put off by the loss of RAW - but then he did add that after he gave the G7 back after the test, he realised he had become so fond of it, he went out and bought one. In another, the journalist reviewer was comparing it with her Leica M8 and appeared to prefer the M8 - but that costs around £2,500! I think she also however found herself buying a G7. But there does seem to be disappointment that they think this camera is supposed to be the pro's compact - isn't it?! And it should have all the features a pro needs - shouldn't it?! One reviewer said the G7 is neither one nor the other.I think canon have actually got it spot on with this camera. Most of us are not pro's and need a camera for holiday-type snaps and movie clips etc. So we want all the features cannon have added - like the better zoom, bigger LCD display, better movie facility etc. But we want good quality. And also many of us - although not professional - want to experiment with SLR functions and do a bit of proper photography. We don't want to spend thousands on lenses and camera's, or to carry all that gear around on holiday. I suspect Canon are aiming at this market as opposed to the pro - although in the reviews I read, pro's evidently still appear to recommend and buy the camera. What better recommendation is there than that!Overall, great camera, a real all-rounder that can do probably everything you would want from a camera and at a good price. Packed with features, well built, a camera you will probably have for many years and lead you into a greater interest in photgraphy. I'm very glad I got one.

5Eye of the Tiger

I bought this gym equipment about 2 months ago. And it's great!I wanted to do some heavy lifting without the need for someone else to spot me so i could train anytime. So the only way was to get a "smiths-machine" so i could lock the bar easily. This works well for this and helps with safety. (obviously work within limits and use a spotter if really exerting beyond limits)When it arrived, i had to make sure i was in to help the delivery man unload the kit into my garage. I made sure the space was available and ready in the garage to set the whole thing up. It comes in a lot of boxes of parts and it was straight forward unpacking these. Then after laying all the parts down, it did look rather a daunting task to build. You need another person to help you build this machine. The instructions were actually easy to follow. Make sure you have a wrench, screwdrivers and patience - it took us about 8 hours to build the whole thing from unpacking to finished product. But it was actually fun (sometimes frustrating), but worth it.The equipment once built is well-built. The parts are solid, and well-made. The pulleys work very well and there are a lot of attachments, chains etc to make it suit your workout. You have to oil the main side poles to allow the main bar to slide freely before you first do those benches. The olympic weights, which i think aren't included, can easily be stored at the sides and loading is easy, which is important for a quicker workout. The bench itself is also very well-built.This is a great gym and i use it almost every day and love the feel and quality of it. It's not cheap, but worth it, it pays dividends on the workout you get and gym membership savings.Get your mates round and train together and watch them envy the prime quality equipment you're using.Remember to have plenty of space and room and get help and spend time installing.

4Works with PC and Apple computers
By Mr. David P. Barr
This is an excellent camera for both still and moving images. I edit using an Apple Computer. Although it isn't compatible with iMovie 6, a simple upgrade to iMovie 08 solved all my problems. You plug the camera into the computer and stand back, the Apple recognises the camera, launched iMovie, asks to import the movies then creates movies already filed by date. Look no hands !

5EXCELLENT!!
By ecornwell
I originally bought the SR37 but was very disappointed with the features of the camcorder, especially it's low light capability of 6 lux. This one is MUCH better, with it's impressive range of features and a standard low light capability of 1.5 lux which produces excellent movies even inside under low light (I record drunken party nights in my dimly lit local!), and if it gets darker you can change to night shot or super night shot for some "Blair Witch" type effects in total darkness. The camera is a bit bulkier than the SR37, but for the additional features it's well worth it. The zoom is not too powerful compared to the latest camcorders (only 10x optical and 80x digital) but I haven't found this a problem. Some of my favourite features on the SR190 that aren't on the SR37 (or many of the current range) are: The automatic lens cover, the accessory shoe, the remote control (very useful when playing back movies on the TV direct from the camera), 4MP still camera (MUCH better than the <1MP of most recent camcorders), built in flash for the still camera. I haven't tested the surround sound yet, but from other reviews I've read apparently it's excellent. It comes with a very useful docking station which I leave connected to my computer for transferring the movies, but there's no additional USB connector on the camera, so you can't connect it to the computer or a Sony DVD Recorder directly, only via the docking station.I thoroughly recommend this camcorder, it's a shame Sony don't make it any more because in my opinion it's MUCH better than any of their current range (in this class), but if you can get hold of one, GET IT!!
