This new heated progagator is the best quality model on the market in our opinion.The size (50x100cm) is big for a decent capacity, and the modular height system means that you can tailor the propagator to your requirements e.g. 1 layer (24cm high) is ideal for small cuttings and raising seeds. The tops and sides of the Vitapod are made from the thickest material we have ever seen on this type of product (about 3mm), and the vents are the biggest available, giving you ultimate control.

You pay for quality

I am a professional horticulturist, and I have used products from this company for some time, indeed I had the oppertunity to examine a prototype of this.Its quality, and thats what you need, well made, decent electronics. Proper ventilation, which are essential for plant health, esp when they are baby seedlings.DIY shops will sell you a tiny propergator for about £20, they not very good. I put my equipment to a great deal of use and the Vitapod is tough enough.Easy to assemble, and keep clean. The electroncis are well made, and very simple to use, the digital readout is very clear, even in low light.I have used to Vitapod to over-winter some of my most precious capsicum plants. I feel secure with them in one of these kits. I, and other professionals use these kits for their germination testing.In a nutshell, you pay for quality, and products from Greenhuose Sensation. I have found out over the years that buying cheap is nothing but a false economy.Put simply, these are the Rolls Royce of garden products, why go for an old banger?

My husband was delighted with his christmas present, but I was very disappointed to find that if I had bought direct from Vitopod I could have bought the version with the extra height extension for the same price.!!!!!

Received the Starter Vitopod Propagator Large today. The delivery was excellent. Did not believe the size of this but my husband is over the moon and will have great pleasure in using it.
