Fantastic pencils

I have wanted a decent set of colouring pencils for a long time to use in my card making to colour in rubber stamped images etc, and I finally bit the bullet and ordered these.They are fabulous pencils, lovely to colour with, soft and blend really well. The range of colours are vast and the wooden box they came in, is sturdy and keeps the pencils in a good condition.I would definitely recommend these to anybody. Excellent buy!

Brilliant pencils

The selection of colours in this range is wonderful - very well thought out.The box is a delight. Keeps the pencils protected and looks good too.Now to the pencils themselves:- the diameter of the pencil is very comfortable, I can find some narrower pencils a bit too slim, but these sit very well in the hand.- the wood the pencils are made of is solid but sharpens easily.- the all important core gives the smoothest and most solid line I have ever had from a pencil - rich intense colour at a stroke.- the colours are soft enough to blend easily and you can build up layers to generate transitions between colours or new colours all together.- I've had no problems with lead breakages with these pencils.I would recommend adding the Derwent Blister Pack Containing Two Blenders, Two Burnishers, Sharpener AND Eraser to your basket too - because the blender works brilliantly with the Coloursoft and the Burnisher allows you to add depth and shine to your drawings. I'm very happy with these pencils and look forward to using them again and again.

Brilliant investment

If you're thinking 'well they're a bit expensive for a pack of colours' these really are worth it. The box is really nice, very protective, and the range of colours you get is fantastic. i've never found myself wishing for a slightly different colour, as i have with most other packs i've had. the quality is amazing, you really get almost solid colour with these as opposed to quite grainy coverage. they really are a joy to colour with, and bring whatever your drawing right off the page :)

5x60 not 6x60

A Great piece of lighting, contemporary in design and liable to catch people's attention. The only downside is that the elliptical prisms of which there are several do not fit snugly and do fall off periodically, which can be much more than an annoyance. We had to resort to blue tack to hold the prisms in place, which is a shame for an expensive fixture.Amazon as usual were amazing with their delivery and service.But they were inaccurate in their info as the light holds 5 not 6 bulbs.

Better than i expected!

I was still using Powerpoint from Office 97 at the same time as other applications from Office 2007 and it was all getting a bit confusing. So I bought the upgrade to make it compatible and to reduce the brain recalibration every time I switched from, say, Excel 2007 to Powerpoint 97. I have to say I am more impressed than I expected to be. I only use Powerpoint for relatively simple business presentations but 2007 is definitely easier to use than my old version and much more capable if you put the time in to learn the new tricks. I can't comment on whether it would be worth upgrading from a more recent version to Powerpoint 2007, but for about £60 I have got a much more capable software package.

Microsoft(Bill Gates) made it! I bet I got the right choice! I was concerned I couldn't buy this upgrade version of Power Point 2007 at first because I had never installed Power Point 2007. However, I was so relieved I could install this with no problem at all; that is, this installation proved to be successful as long as I installed Microsoft Office Personal 2007 like the computer shop staff said. Without Microsoft Office Personal 2007 I would have had to pay about £150-, which is definitely ridiculous! In fact, I used to deal with both Power Point Viewer and Open Office before getting this upgrade version of Power Point 2007. The trouble was that I wasn't able to see my files on Power Point Viewer unless I made presentation files on Open Office. In other words, I had to forward the files to Power Point Viewer after completing the files on Open Office. That was also a waste of time and energy. At last I deleted both Power Point Viewer and Open Office!I suppose some people may complain their computers don't include Power Point 2007, which they may find inconvenient. But don't worry; this is highly recommended for them. Don't miss it!
