Illustrator CS3 the last illustrator in RAM

This vector graphic design tool is a professional product aimed at the industrial designer or the advanced web master. Ostensively, the most advanced 2D design tool currently available. It requires a large chunk of RAM; under one Gigabyte it doesn't even install. It has a rich palette of features like you would expect from an Adobe product. The only drawback is the steep price. There is now a newer version of it, callad CS4. The main difference is that CS4 offloads part of the processing onto the graphic card. Therefore it requires an expensive state of the art graphic adapter card which I do not have therefore I stick to CS3. As far as functionalities both offer more than enough for any serious designer.
