Casio R/C watch
By Johnta
I bought this to replace a Wave-Ceptor watch I had for 7 years, it suddenly stopped working, having given good service previously. It may have been battery trouble, it was about time for a new one. My only criticism of this watch is that I only discovered it did not have world wide capability when it arrived. It seems to only receive signals from Europe and UK. As it happens this will probably be OK for me now. The operation of the watch seems simpler than the previous one. So overall I am very pleased.

An excellent watch
By Mr. Philip J. King
I have had a few of this range over the last decade. This has a clear read out, it charges quickly and the blue back light is very clear.

Accurate to the second but the bracelet is a nightmare
By Rod
I bought this to replace a Swatch watch which had acquired the habit of occasionally stopping for two or three minutes at a time, thus rendering itself largely useless as a precision timepiece. The Casio Wave Ceptor sets itself via a radio signal from an atomic clock in Cumbria so is always accurate and doesn't need manually resetting to accommodate British Summer Time. The watch itself is attractive enough if a little clunky and on close inspection there is no doubt that this is a sub £100 watch. That suits me as I am a clumsy oaf who breaks these things with depressing regularity. The only downside I would suggest is that the bracelet is the Devil's own work to adjust. This adjustment isn't explained in the manual but you will require a thin pokey tool (I used an electronics screwdriver), a pair of pliers, a small hammer, lots of patience, a swear box and a first aid kit. Failing that, a trip to your local friendly jewellers may be required.
