NScessity babybay® is an ingenious cot solution that attaches to the side of any regular bed in a few easy steps so that your baby can sleep close to mum and dad. babybay bedside cot is a unique solution to this problem that allows baby to sleep right next to you, in full view and within close reach, without disturbing your normal sleeping habits and of course there is no risk of parent rolling over and squashing baby during the night. It is attached to the side of your own bed using metal fasteners and adjusts to any height, allowing an optimal co-sleeping arrangement without discomfort to either you or baby.

Essential for me

I use this bed for my third baby now, and it makes the broken nights so much easier, especially when breastfeeding. The baby is close to you, which reduces the risk of cot death, but you can still move without being afraid to put your blankets over the baby. The price here is 4 times what I paid for it in France though, so I would certainly look abroad if you want to purchase this bed.

I purchased this cot with the intention of breastfeeding our second child. This didn't work out but I am nonetheless delighted with the cot. It's sturdy, attractive and makes attending to the baby in the middle of the night so much easier as she is right there beside you, nose to nose if you like! No fishing her out of a crib, no straining your arm at an awkward angle when you want to offer that essential comfort without getting out of the bed or while dozing yourself.Our bed is very high and I was worried it would not adjust high enough for it (90cm), we'd even planned to move to the spare room where the bed is a standard height. However, the cot was adjustable to the height required.I have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone wanting to have their baby close to them at night. Even my sceptical husband is pleased.

i love this cot. i couldn't bear for my new baby to be out of my sight, couldn't see him in moses basket. he is so close to me now i can actually cuddle him if necessary. but he is safe within his own space. and so much cheaper from this German company! just excellent in every way.
