Fantastic

This is an amazing little radio. It charges your ipod as it plays and even has an alarm setting. The sound quality is just fantstic and it really will fill the room. I highly recommend this product.

I Would NOT Recommend This Product

I bought one (not from Amazon) but returned it within 2 months.The bad bits -* Alarm on Radio or iPod is way too loud and you can't adjust the volume.* Alarm on Buzz is also too loud but when you turn the alarm off the radio comes on, so you have to turn the alarm off again. Mine developed a fault in that the alarm went off again a few seconds later (had to turn it off up to 4 times until it decided to stay off - NOT good!!).* The illumination from the display on standby is far too bright - (illuminated the whole bedroom) and it can not be adjusted. I had to place an object in front of it!The good bits -* Stylish looks (if that's what you prefer).* Sounds great (although there is no adjustment possible).* Easy to use (there are not that many features though).I have now bought a Pure Evoke 3 which does not have an iPod docking station - but an iPod can be plugged in (although in the 2 months I had the Eton I never used the docking station anyway). I can also get twice as many stations, it sounds even better through it's stereo speaks, has far more features (e.g. pause DAB, record on to SD card) and has loads of adjustments (e.g. illumination, alarm volume) It is, of course much more expensive and is bigger but it is definitely worth the extra expense.

Super, smashing, lovely!

This radio is really cute. It sits very neatly on my bedside shelf. The sound is fantastic and the instructions and controls very easy to understand. The look reminds me of 70's retro with a large funky volume control knob. My only gripe (and it is a small one) is the blue display panel. This panel whilst bright and informative through the day is extremely bright at night and cannot be turned down. I know this may only be my problem but I now have to cover it with a book at night. Other radios do have a dimmer function and I think this is a design flaw. However if it is not beside your bed don't worry about it! Also - my husband quite likes the light as he is blind as bat at night!
