Fender tuners...? Hmmmmm...

They fit OK (direct replacements for Am Std Strat) and seem to work OK, but do you want a US Strat with Far Eastern bits? I bought these and found a 'Made in Taiwan' sticker on the pack (the side they don't show you). Yes, these genuine Fender lockers are actually made in Taiwan!In my (nearly 50 years) experience the quality surely cannot be as good as US tuners, although the price is similar to US Sperzels. I had a spare set of Sperzels but didn't want to drill the holes in the headstock if it could be avoided - may do so now! Also, Sperzels are properly staggered height - 2 short / 2 medium/ 2 long posts; the Fenders are 3 short posts, 3 long. This means the break angle for the 4th string is a little shallower than ideal. No problem if you have string trees, of course.If you have a decent Strat, take pride in having genuine US gear (yes, I'm sure some will just say this is snobbish), and are looking for lockers, you might want to consider this!
