The Best Road-Bike Saddle-bar none.

I purchased this saddle after trying out plenty of different more modern designs from other manufacturers (Fizik, Bontrager, & Giant - to name just three) and comparing them with the saddle my Dad uses on his road bike. At about 300grams this was about as lightweight as any modern saddle. But most saddles feel to me as if I'm sitting on a plank of soft wood if I'm lucky, or an iron girder if I'm not lucky! The Brooks started off as comfortable as the most comfortable of the more modern saddles that I had sat on, and has improoved in comfort since it was installed. I applied the Brooks leather saddle profide to the saddle the night before riding with the saddle for the first time, and after riding for about 2 hours on the first day it was the most comfortable ride I've ever had on a road bike.If you thinking that the more comfortable you are, then the more you you will ride? then look no further. Yes the design hasn't changed much since about 1890, that is because the design hasn't needed to be changed.
