No worldbeater, but good value.

I've only ever bought Seiko watches over the past 25 years, with the SMY082P1 being the most recent. It's a beautiful watch to look at, with a good 'chunky' feel and very accurate. The fact that it does not have a battery or require any conventional 'winding' always impresses people! A small criticism would be that as the light fades, the dial is not as easily read as some models and though there is a degree of 'luminosity' on the hands/face, it is not very strong.

This is an excellent watch, supremely accurate (mine only needs changing when the clocks go forward & back), elegant, secure bracelet - a joy to own.
