excellent for tracks

I orienteer and find these great for trail running or running over firm hills where the more protruberant studs aren't needed. I find them extremely comfortable and also use them for hill walking if you don't need something waterproof.A good trainer that is comfortable and light and midway between trainers and full hill running studs.

The Inov8 Flyroc 310s were my first pair of trail running shoes. They are so comfortable, supportive and grippy - I cannot recall ever slipping in them even when running downhill on muddy grass or across wet rock. They are close fitting - I have narrow feet- and give a really good feel for the surface you are running on, yet have more cushioning underfoot than I expected. They offer reasonable protection for your heels and across your toes considering they are quite light and I think the soles have lasted well. Although obviously only the Gortex version is waterproof, the ordinary Flyrocs dry our quite quickly after a soaking. I've bought a second pair because they are so good.
