Simple and sturdy clipper. Cutting length is set by blade guard which holds on well. Strong drive, even more if plugged in. The NiMH-batteries can be replaced if necessary. I used it to shave my head, but you probably can use for your sheep too...

Previous clippers I've owned or used had all the bells and gizmo's but were rather either precious or temperamental in use and certainly oversold their cutting ability, which after all is surely the only reason to buy clippers in the first place.Not so with the Wahl Envoy Cord/Cordless Hair Clippers. What you get, and they are not the cheapest on the market by any means, is a good solid no-frills powerful pair of clippers with a rechargeable battery life that will give you a thorough cut and probably your neighbours, or perhaps the dog as well! Cleaning is extremely effortless and simple and the various length attachments are sturdy and fit easily and stay in place resolutely.Most have learnt that you get what you pay for in life, and this is so true with these Wahl Envoy Clippers, a bit at the top end of the price scale but way at the top when it comes to cutting excellence, sturdiness, and quality. So happy with my purchase.

Top quality product, just lacking bells and whistles

There is no doubting that this is a top quality product. I've been shaving my head for about 15 years and these are by far the best quality clippers I've owned. They are also the most expensive by a very long way!The good:- The motor is very powerful when using wirelessly- There is no stupid fiddly lever like you find on cheaper clippers (which in my experience is pointless and generally breaks after a years use)- Nice ergonomic design fits snugly in your hand and looks like a top quality product made using high quality materialsThe bad:- There are literally no accessories! The product comes in a flimsy cardboard box in what looks like a sandwich bag with all the attachments just thrown in and rattling around- There is no travel case (fortunately I've kept the one I had from a set of clippers 3 years ago)- The biggest negative I can report is the difference between grade 1 and 2. I like to have my hair cut grade 2, however the grade 2 is about 6 times bigger than the grade 1 and the clipper blades are so far apart it makes it almost impossible to use at grade 2, leaving an uneven and rediculous looking cut. I now have to use grade 1 instead, which is a very short grade 1 at that which is a bit of a pain. If you like cutting grade 1 though you will not find a better set of clppers and these will race through your hair in well under 5 minutes not leaving any missed bits.
