My new sandals

I have bought Birkenstock in 39 regular previously, but this pair are exceptionaly wide across the toes, but narrower at the heel. I expect I shall get used to them.

I love Birkenstocks and have worn this style sandal in size 40 narrow for over 20 years, so was very surprised these were tight even with the longest strap. This pair had a soft footbed which was slightly 'puffy' and used up some of the space, so I had to get a medium width. I didn't like the antique holunder which was a dull and unappealing purplish colour.

The design is nice, everybody knows! Howver the leather is not much smooth, and it produced a blister on upside of my foot. I think now it's better, but I haven't walk with them for much time...
