5More Power
By E. Gardiner
Asus have excelled themselves with this GPU, while its expensive the preformance it provides is worth it. Frame rates are massively boosted and even the most demanding games are brought to their knees by its raw power. Running Rainbow 6 Las Vegas at its highest specs with all the graphics options turned on is childs play. My next upgrade will be a second card to run in an Sli configuration, granted I dont need to as a single card will run any game currently available but Im greedy and looking to future proof. In short this card is awesome buy it, love it.

410 minutes gas mark 5
By Trev
This is a very good graphics card apart from one small problem which appears pretty common amongst other user's. Every few months when I boot up I get lines across the screen and it appears that everything has hung up. In reality the computer still boots but the screen is frozen. The first time that this happened I asumed that my computer had completely crashed. However it appears that this is a foible of these 8800 cards. For some reason they no longer recognise your VDU.The cure is to ether get another card or.....remove the card from the computer, remove the fan assembly from the card. Then place the card flat on some cooking foil (Do not wrap it up) then put it in the oven on gas mark 5 for ten minutes. Let it cool down then reassemble everything and pop it back into your computer. This works for me, beside, what have you to lose?
