Works With NWZ S639F

Yep it works with the NWZ-S639F not that any one will tell you this, but i took the risk bought one and hey presto. It works, including all functions on the remote control. Sound quality so (very) much better than the SRS-MWGM30 dock. The pictures never show that this (cpf nw001) comes with a larger power supply box that includes an active subwoofer in its casework for you to hideaway (although not to much as the power switch is here). The sound quality is superior in, maximum volume available, bass extension and actual quality. It is a shame sony did not promote it more i do not think it is a popular seller and now "this best kept secret" is being discontinued. I picked mine up for a ridiculously low sum, especially considering that it originally sold for anywhere between £120 - £175. BUY ONE BEFORE THEY ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLEn.b. there is also the SONY CPF-IX001 this is exactly the same unit as the cpf-nw001 with an additional module that performs a wireless connection, the wireless module simply sits on the standard connector. However the remote is completely different and i cannot vouch for how well it would work. So if the remote function is not important to you........But then again if you have all your music on the pc and you are probably wireless then you won't even need your player (assuming thats where you want it?)........Whats really weird though is that this unit is usually cheaper than without the wireless module..!

This fantastic little system turned up this morning, and 12 hours later, what can I say?? I LOVE it, I'm going to marry it and have its babies! The sound is excellent and the range is unbelievable when you consider how small it is! I played my Sony A808 in it and was blown away.I bought this on the strength of a single Amazon review and a bit of Googling, and I am thrilled with it. Priority for me is always sound, and once I played around with the position of the subwoofer for a while, I managed to find my own favourite 'listening' range, so I'd definitely advise moving it around until you get the sound that's best for you. Play around with the position of the audio cradle too as I found that an inch here or there made a big difference (!!).I set it up in the kitchen/diner which is about 13 ft by 10 ft, and the music quite literally filled the room. Whenever anyone hears it, they always look around for the speakers, because that's how big the sound is.Even the remote is brilliant - I can operate it from the other side of the kitchen, so can just 'switch' albums with a flick! And you can use other players with it too with the included cable, but all the functions aren't available and of course, it won't charge - but at least the facility is there to use with another player.Just one tip, I found it to sound best with the Sony eq off - and to use the eq on the remote instead. But play around with that too. It's quite bassy and can sound a little overdone if the Sony clear bass is also activated.

I brought a Samsung MP3 player with integrated speakers and found it bulky and hard going. I brought a Sony NW-S706F and found it an amazing little piece of kit. I liked the idea of being able to play music directly from my MP3 player. So I decided to byt the Sony CPF-NW001. Wow!!!! what an amazing piece of kit. I brought the WIFI version so that I was able to link the cradle directly to my computer. This was easy to install. Playing files from the computer and MW-s706f was easy. The remote was fantastic. But the best bit is the sound quality. Absolutely amazing for the size of the speakers. Quality and volume is awesome. Id definitely recommend this.
