So very clear

This watch has such a lovely clear face. It is easily visible in all light conditions and even my old eyes can read it instantly. The strap is a bit wide and the watch itself is certainly no shrinking violet. Having said that it certainly gets attention and you certainly know that it is there. So full marks for a classy, easy to read, functional watch. So to sum up, this is a fashion statement, but also extremely practical and useful. It is very trendy for the younger of us and very easy to read and use for old farts. I hope that I will find out how to change the battery when it needs it as the strap goes round the back of the watch

Ok, I'm a woman and I like big size watches.I have small wrists but the wathe size is ok for me.I was looking for some nice digital watch.This one looks pretty cool, works good, has many features.Just two right side buttons sometimes are too easy to press accidentally.Quality, retro digital style watch.I love it.

Chunky but good

Arrived in a nice presentation box. Have to agree with 70s review. Nice clear watch face and easy to read the time at a glance. Strap is wide but comfortable and the strap closure doesn't annoy or catch on stuff thanks to the leather loops holding the excess strap tight. One gripe - the ad specifies the watch as 10 mm thickness. I therefore thought it would be a nice slim fit (the way I like it). However since the strap fitting passes underneath the watch unit, it sits further away from your wrist and is anything but slim.The day has an animation at 10 second intervals which is a nice interesting feature, and I found the 3 alarms, dual time, stopwatch with lap time memory and countdown timer to all function well. Also the back light is very good and stays on for a few seconds and then phases out gradually - giving a classy feel to the functionality.I read a bunch of reviews before buying this, and some people couldn't figure out how to set the time - it's a little odd - you have to keep the LIGHT button depressed for a few seconds which is unusual - the instructions are not all that clear as the models described do not look like this one. But there one set of instructions actually do fit this model (but for a completely different watch face)One bad point though - the lower right hand button acts as a DST (daylight saving time) on / off when the watch is in normal time mode. I have found that the DST turns itself on and off as the button gets pressed inadvertently. That a poor design Black Dice - if you're listening. Put the DST on / off into the time setting where it should be. One start knocked off for this.Overall I would recommend - if you like chunky!
