Great overnight travel day case
By David J. Jones
Purchased about 6 months ago. No sign of wear other than the usual dirt so far. Well made and comfy to pull and carry. I use it for flyng and have never been stopped for carry on. I can fit enough clothes for 3 days along with a laptop and files. My only gripe is that it does not have a shoulder strap so you either have to pull or hand carry it which can be a pain when its fully loaded.

A Welcome Surprise In All Respects
By O. Beltrami
Prior to this purchase, I had used a hardcase Samsonite "pilot-case" since 2002. After 7 years, and over 200 days on the road a year, my Samsonite case was in tatters, but ever since I started looking for a replacement, back in 2005, I never found anything that would replace it ... until now.The Wenger is great and keeps all the things I liked about my Samsonite:* Laptop is well protected. Though not a hard-case, the Wenger holds the laptop in a middle compartment, protected on both sides by foam, and with the posibility of keeping the laptop inside a padded pouch (which fits fine into the compartment). BTW: my laptop is a Thinkpad with 15.4 inch screen).* Access to the laptop can occur when case is vertical (no need to lay the case flat and close all other compartments).* The only compartment that could need flat opening, the one for "bulk" items, opens at 45 degrees which is even better than flat.* Lots of room inside for odd-sized objects (such as my noise-cancelling headphones).* Outside pouch for plane tickets ...In addition, the Wenger has some marked benefits compared to my Samsonite:* Despite the space available for large objects, there is a plethora of pouches for wallet, passport, glasses, even USB stick (a minor detal, but it's nice not to have to fish through my bag to get my USB stick anymore). In the previous models that I researched since 2005, these extra pockets always seemed like a gimmick, but with the Wenger, they all seem useful (and most of them are useful to me (and none of them "gets in the way").* Most importantly, despite all the above, THE BAG LOOKS SMALL. Anyone who dreads the moment at the boarding gate when the boarding agent looks at your bag to decide if it should go into the hold or in the cabin with you, will appreciate this feature.

My portable office - superb bit of kit
By Mr. M. M. Roberts
I bought this product recently having finally got tired of lugging my office on my back in a Wenger rucksack. The case is durable and extremely well made with quality stitching and the moving parts made of sturdy components.Fully laden, the case has a nice balance to it - making it possible to carry as hand luggage for a long period without feeling too awkward. The only thing that you do need to keep in mind, is any muck that has collected on the wheels, will transfer nicely to your trousers if you're not careful. In pull along, the wheels are smooth running and quiet. I no longer have the neighbours complaining in the morning as I haul the thing along the road to the car, which was a bit of a noisy affair with my previous wheeled case.
