Excellent value, clear crisp image and very light !

I bought these to compliment my 8x42 version of this binocular.Minox has produced, in these bins, an excellent product. They weigh just over 600g and at the £319 I paid for them are excellent value. I believe they have only come out in the last month or so and are not to be confused with other Minox models.The view/image is clear, bright and crisp with good contrast and sharpness. They sit easily in your hand and are so light you hardly notice them.Focus is easily achieved and the movement of the focus ring smooth and well, just about spot on.Build is superb. The outside is black rubberised material and they are fully waterproof, etc.I must have tried about 10 different makes/models of 10x42's before I bought these and TBH most were quite similar in image quality at this price. The feel, weight and image quality of these for the price just gave them the edge. The only binoculars I preferred were Swarovski Swarovision 10x42 ... which are superb - but they are £1700 and these were £300 .. ish. The Swarovski's price means they are something I will aspire to ... but not buy yet - not at that price ! They also weight 200g more.Any complaints re these Minox - only minor ones insofar as the strap is too short and the lens caps don't fit that well on the ends ... but that is all I can come up with. Overall I think they are superb and would definitely recommend them.
