Campinggaz Coolbox

I bought the Campingaz Poowerbox 36l for holiday use. It is an excellent product and does exactly what is claimed. A bonus was that our Fridge Freezer failed and we where able to use the Coolbox in its fridge confiquration. It cools quickly to 18c below ambient. The fan can be a bit annoying as it runs continuosly.

This 12v coolbox offers impressive performance. While camping or 'on the road' it's a battle to keep things cool but this fits perfectly into a footwell and keeps food and drink chilled to 18 degrees below the ambient temperature. If your lighter socket isn't live when the engine is switched off then it will stop running - but the box and its contents still remain cool for several hours.It's also good for keeping frozen foods cold when restocking the fridge/freezer on a supermarket run in hot weather when there's a risk of foods rapidly thawing or becoming dangerously warm in a hot car.A recommended and reliable purchase.

i bought one of these coolboxes so that i didnt have to keep going in and out of the house getting cold beers as i loafed around in my gazebo on my idle day off, i purchased 4 ice boards which i froze and put them into the base of the coolbox, then i put 20 cans of lager in there and switched the box on. i immediately noted the fan isnt exactly quiet but it is very tolerable so worth it, the box fans the frigid air of the ice boards / blocks back onto themselves so in no time the beer was ice cold. and baring in mind i put 20 cans into it and there was still oodles of room in it, so if you are looking for a nice big coolbox then i highly recommend this one .. please remember you will need a campingaz / coleman transformers to run this in the house as it runs off a cigarette lighter, amazon sell the transformer for around £12-£15 !
