Reasonable Safe although a bit cheap inside.

I bought this mostly for its fire rating and it having an electronic key pad. The safe works quite well although sometimes you have to jiggle with the handle for it to lock/unlock.The sides feel quite plasticy, this safe is pretty cheap so its fair to say that this is the sort of quality you might expect. The outer casing is plastic and not metal.The keypad can be quite easily removed with a twist and a pull, which is a bit of a floor to the design, because someone could remove it leaving the contents in-accessible. I do wonder whether regular access to change the batteries would in the end lead to damage to the cables? and whether simply applying voltage to the cables would open the lock?I use mine for data storage and I'm okay with, but if I was going to store something more important I'd probably opt for a full metal unit with a concealed hinge when closed.The safe didn't come with batteries ! would have been nice!

This safe is great value for money. Assembly of batteries etc all seems a bit flimsy but then it all works well and is very satisfactory.
