4Hard to live without
By Little Princess's Mummy
We got this product when our daughter started moving around. Originally we planned on using it as a playpen as we have an open plan house with a slate fireplace, a step and obviously stairs! While she was just 'shuffling' around from 5/6 months it was fine as it contained her but once she started crawling she hated it! There really isn't enough room to use it as a playpen for a child that is learning to crawl or walk.We have now converted into a room divider and it works a treat. Apart from the fact you have to live with their sizings so our divider isn't straight, it has a V in the middle it was easy to put together and fix to the walls.I would also like to say that as a playpen it is easy to 'put down' it folds flat and could be store behind a sofa or against a wall with few problems, we did this when it was just a playpen. It is heavy and bulky though so I'd suggest a permenant place for it if you intend on leaving it as a playpen. As I said not great for a playpen (although my cousin uses hers as a very large toybox) but super as a secure room divider.

3Good points but not flexible
By Christopher Gray
We bought this product mainly as a room divider, to fence off the Christmas tree at one end of the lounge. We had hoped to click off the product after our toddler was in bed ( and restore the room to it's festive best) but it was very difficult and we ended up damaging the walls. It has a very sturdy construction and the six separate segments won't come apart- no matter how hard your toddler tries. Be prepared to give up an hour or so of your time if you want to make any adjustments to the configuration as it is a real pain for adults too.In summary, when the product was in place it was fantastic. If you intend to erect it and leave it there I would really recommend it. If you are looking for a flexible babyproofing solution this isn't it.Also, I got the impression that the product we received was "as new" as some parts were already assembled and I suspect it may have been a return that wasn't restored to it's factory condition - no proof, just a feeling.

5Perfect play pen
By Ms. Catherine J. Harris
I bought this for our new puppy it seemed much roomier, sturdier and better value for money than actual puppy pens and IT IS. You don't have to peg it to the ground as the design means that when your puppy gets slightly bigger and stands against the side it doesn't tip over. We also had two older dogs so in the evenings the puppy bed was put in the pen so he could still sleep in the same room as them and we were sure he was safe, and when the teething started so was our furniture !Our border collie pup is now 10 months old and is definately too big to be kept in a pen, we now use it as the toy box, he jumps in gets a toy....jumps back out again !But after all these months of being chewed by a growing puppy there's not a scratch on it . At some point it will go in the attic and no doubt it will be brought back down for the next puppy. Definately a good buy.
