This safe has proven fire protection for 1 hour up to 843°C, independently tested by UL (Underwriters Laboratories), and also withstands a drop of up to 15 feet. A seal around the door offers water-resistance from flood. Its 4 live-locking bolts offer complete protection from an attempted break in, and hardware for bolting down is also included.
The locking system offers double protection. Firstly, the tubular key barrel must be unlocked before the electronic lock can be used. Once the key barrel is depressed, then the safe is totally secure. Internal organisation is easy with 2 multi-position trays. The back of the door also has 4 key hooks and a pocket for small items. The external size offers the abiltiy to conceal within your premises, whilst it still has a large enough interior to hold A4 size documents, folders and binders.

Good solid safe, a good value buy.

Solid, secure and easy to use. In general it looks and feels good quality although the plastic around the keypad is a little on the cheap side.Requires 4 x AA batteries and mine appears to have an issue where the battery low light is lit even though I'm using brand new Duracell alkaline AAs. I need to make sure I always have some spare batteries around because on day I'm going to try to get my passport out and find that the batteries have gone flat!As in the description, the key lock is in addition to the numeric lock. To lock the key lock you just push the lock barrel in and turn the key to release it. Bear in mind that to be sure you can get into the lock you'll always need to make sure you have the key handy as the lock barrel could easily get accidentally pressed in and then you'll need the key.I was a little confused by the delivery charges, it says that it's not eligible for Amazon Prime and it says "FREE UK delivery" next to the price but when I went to order it I was given two choices for delivery (£6.66+VAT for 2 day delivery or £10+VAT for next day delivery). I appreciate that at nearly 40Kg it might need special delivery although it was actually delivered by a Citylink driver with no extra help who had this along with other purchases (which were next day Prime items).
