Good all round amplifier
By Jeff P
I bought this when my Marshall bass amps failed for the third time. I needed a back up while the Marshall was being repaired and I have not regretted buying the Behringer. The sound is excellent and there is enough power to drive my Marshall 15 cabinet. I have not used the Ultrabass on stage but when I tried it out at home, the sound was very impressive. The controls give as much variety as you could wish for. I can see me using the Behringer in preference to the Marshall MB 450 head when it returns.I agree with another reviewer that Behringer have some very unwarranted poor press. I have two Behringer mixers, have used their Composer and Feedback Destroyer for many years. I have had no problems with their reliability and find them easy to work with and very flexible..I would recommend this amp to anyone.

brilliant especially for the money,

Brilliant - especially for the money.Good solid no nonsense sound, and for the extra ooomph there is ultrabass. You wouldn't want the Ultrabass all the time, but for the occasional extra it's brilliant, and with the included footswitch really flexible.I'm not so sure about the shape function, but I think thats more that it doesn't suit my style.

Well worth the money !!

I thought about buying this Head for a while. The only regret i have is waiting to long to buy it, its a nice Head, 450w great range of sound. I play in a Death/Thrash Metal band and it does everything i need it to do, i use over drive and reverb pedals and this handled the lot and produced the goods. People slate Behringer and say its a poor mans choice, Rubbish !! Behringer do quality stuff i even bought the mic on offer here that two was great. The Behringer BX4500H is top notch, i put it through a 400w cab the limiter needle was touching red as it would do, so i hooked two cabs together now i was running at 800w the neddle hit just half way and had lots more to give. Trust me you will not regret buying the Head, its also light takes up little space. the vintage look is nice to, the limiter on the left lights up and gives it a nice touch. Im well pleased with it.
