Sheen X300 Flame Gun

Excellent for eradicating weeds in dry weather, although not all that easy to light initially until the corrct technique is adopted (well described in the instructions). It is however fairly thirsty on paraffin and may not be the cheapest option for removal of weeds given the steep rise in fuel costs recently. Well worth having one in the garden shed!

One wicked machine!

Wow! This is one wicked machine. If you have ever wanted to try your hand with a flame thrower this is for you! Produces an evil searing flame that doesn't give weeds a chance. But don't try to cremate them in one go. It's a two stage process: first pass to destroy the plants' cells so that they wither and die; second pass a couple of days later to burn the remains away. It an organic option and it doesn't need a spell of dry weather like chemical weedkillers. As with chemical killers, grass in paths can prove a bit more resistant to the grim reaper, so a second treatment may be needed.
