Product Description

The range starts with the MJE16V-E1 model it's build quality is far superior to anything else we have in stock and its range of features make it adaptable for a wide range of applications. For example:-

For the home - it is quieter than any other model and can dry laundry. Especially in a flat the quietness is a major plus and as the main source of damp in a flat is clothes drying the fact that it can dry laundry is a major plus.

The Easy Dehumidifying function provides complete control of the home by touching just one button. The dehumidifier then makes all of the decisions for you. The dust filter removes dirt and dust from the air. These two features help allergy suffers.

For Cars, Caravans and Boats - Mitsubishi Electric dehumidifiers have always been very popular with users who have an application to protect something special and valuable at low temperatures. The MJE16V is more than capable of keeping a double garage, boat or caravan dry and controlled over a hard winter. The MJ range has always done well in independent reviews, more often than not being voted Best on Test.

They have hot gas defrost to prevent freezing and a low temperature function to ensure that they will extract the maximum amount of moisture when the going gets tough. The electronic humidistat ensures that it only works when necessary, saving electricity.

Continuous drainage is easy to fit and the dehumidifier is stable when put on a side to drain into a sink.

For museums and archives - The Mitsubishi electric range of dehumidifiers have always been popular with museums and the new model continues that association. The auto humidistat controls the relative humidity between 50 and 60%rh, the crucial area for museums and archives. The hot gas defrost function is perfect for use in unheated stores and the machine is easy to move and handle.

5Five...2012 NOW SEVEN years of trouble free service!
By EcoEve
I bought this sleek, quiet, slim line, beautifully designed and easy to use Mitsubishi Dehumidifier way back when I lived in a damp cottage, five years ago,(NOW 7 YEARS & STILL GOING STRONG), and used it then for dehumidifying...in my bedroom, so quiet it did not disturb my sleep. The sheets on my bed became cosy, and the air warmed up. We had no heating upstairs, but even the bath towels seemed to dry and fluff up.I moved last year to a brand new highly insulated home with heat pump and under floor heating...the dehumidifier found a new role as clothing drier...works a treat so no need for a cumbersome energy guzzling and fluff collecting tumble dryer.GET A MITSUBISHI AND ENJOY!

5Very pleased
By whooosh
Just bought one of these through D.I.O on Amazon. It arrived really quickly and they were even able to tell me when it would be delivered within a one hour delivery window, which was very helpful. This is the second dehumidifier I've bought. The first one was Ebac that I had some years ago and it became very noisy after a few months, and I eventually stopped using it (should have had it repaired). In contrast, this unit is very quiet and much much lighter than the Ebac. It has a very slim profile and doesn't look ugly like some of the dehumidifiers I've seen. I had it running for 8 hours yesterday and it took the humidity down from 80 % to 62% in that time frame. Very impressed. This filled half of the unit's 4 litre tank - which is another thing I like about it. Some dehumidifers only seem to have a 2 or 3.5 litre capacity. This is the model down from the top of the range 'X' version, but i think the only difference is that it doesn't have a digital display like the X version, it's mechanically identical from what I've read. Even so it has a range of settings and is quite intuitive. This unit seems to have all of the functios we need, and from what I've read Mitsubishi units are supposed to be the best. The instruction manual is good, although it has a two page list of obvious things that you shouldn't do with the unit. When I was looking on Amazon and researching dehumidifiers, I was a little suspicious of some of the reviews on a few of the top rated products, looking at the reviewers closely left me thinking that a lot of them were none genuine reviews, which is worrying if it is the case.I also bought a hydrometer alongside this unit to measure the rooms humidity. This was a great little product from a German company, which I have reviewed separately. As for this unit so far very pleased!

5Quiet and Easy
By A. Moore
Unfortunately we live in a damp house (near woods) and Dehumidifiers are necessary. 2 cheap ones broke within a year or so, this one is still going strong 2 years later.Nice and quiet (compared to other dehumidifiers) and very easy to set up and use.
