I think I bought it for myself...
By Hunter Boy
Love it!!After comparing various toy kitchens, I settled on this All in One from Legler. I am glad I did, it is soooo beautiful!I couldn't believe the thought and quality that would go into a child's toy, I was amazed. The clicking dials impressed me the most.It was easy to put together from even a sketchy black and white, single instruction page. I managed to construct it during nap time for a surprise. It is a great size for my 19 month old or bigger toddlers(that was hard to tell from the photos). The solid hardwood plywood is all pre drilled and fastens together very sturdily. I gave 4 stars for durability though because it wouldn't take the abuse that a plastic kitchen would, e.g. the oven door has a string to stop it when it opens. Although it is VERY well made, wood is of course less forgiving than plastic (but more enviornmentally friendly!). So if you have a particularly destructive kid, I would think twice.I will....I mean, my little guy will enjoy years of fun with his fab kitchen and let me get some cooking done!

All in one fun

I bought this for my two year old daughter's birthday. Suffice to say she absolutely loves it. I chose it mainly because it offered more than just a cooker - i.e. the washing machine on the other side - and, if I'm honest, because I wanted wood rather than plastic filling up our house. My husband put it together and managed to break the back of one part but you can't tell and overall it seems to be strong and certainly durable enough to withstand the onslaught from my daughter and her 5 and a half yr old brother.I wondered for a while if I should have gone for a plastic version with sounds etc. but actually my daughter seems to really love it and the fact that it doesn't constantly make noises is quite welcome from my point of view.

Beautiful toy but delicate
By T Wilkinson
The unit arrived and had two left sides which made the very faded assembly instructions even trickier. However, with a few modifications everything went together OK for Christmas day. A lovely little unit, all hand made and very attractive. Problems with the unit are that it is very fragile. One hard push on the oven door (my daughter is 18 months) left it on the floor with a broken string and six 8mm tiny but very sharp brass self tapping screws in the carpet for her to play with. Not a good idea! The same was true for the washing tub door hinges which were equally susceptible to failure. I have now stripped the whole unit down and remade with epoxy glue and 10mm self tappers and chain rather than string. Solution works well and my daughter loves it. If you are prepared to do a few modifications this is a lovely toy but don't leave your children unattended if they are heavy handed.
