This exciting new shower board has been designed with many benefits in mind, primarily it is designed to fit right at the back of a flat-topped bath to allow maximum leg room in the bath and also to allow use of the wall behind the bath as a back rest if needed.
It is designed in such a way that excess water drains back into the bath, the drainage holes also serving as carrying handles when it needs to be removed.
The large cut-out at the front of the board is to allow easy access for personal hygiene whilst seated, thus reducing the risk of slips and falls.
The deep, adjustable cleats ensure a secure fitting to almost any bath.

Strong, sturdy, well-built product.

I bought this product for my personal use, as a wheelchair-enabled paraplegic person after some very careful research of a wide range of other products. The first attraction was the width and broadness of the base of the shower-board which means that there is very low chance of falling backward, over-board, as it sits and fit snugly at end of the bath. It is strong, sturdy, and well-built with accessible apertures that can be used as handles for maintaining stability when transferring, into and out of the bath. Another plus, is the cut-out part at the front of the board. This well thought out design and innovative inclusion in the shower-board makes it possible for the less dexterous person to gain ample access to the hard to reach parts of one's private areas,which, if seated on a flat inaccessible board would have been unsafe to do, if not not impossible.Having used other less suitable and risky bath and shower-boards in the past, this, in my estimate is by far the safer and most comfortable one used till date. The broad wide seating surface area and the apertures makes it my preferred choice of living aid equipment in the bathroom. I'll rate and recommend it for those looking for similar product, based on my use of it as a paraplegic disabled wheelchair user.NB:It is always advisable for you to consult your occupational therapist if in doubt as to its suitability and relevance to your situation.
