Each side can be switched on or off and temperature controlled independently and there is plenty of room to make a meal for four. Confused? Here's a couple of recipe ideas: The product is ideal for a full English breakfast, cook your bacon in a healthy way on the grill surface and your eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. on the griddle. But that's not the only thing the 13589 Grill and Griddle is ideal for, how about some chicken fajitas? Cook your chicken on the grill and your onions, peppers and spices on the griddle. Just a couple of ideas to get you going on this great product. The grill maintains it's unique cooking method which grills from both the bottom and top simultaneously, meaning food cooks over twice as fast plus unwanted fat and grease is channelled away into the drip tray provided.

5I'm going to cook all the food!

What can I say about the George that hasnt been said already? I love it! You can use the grill side of it to cook thick meats like burgers or steaks and then use the griddle side to cook stuff like bacon, eggs, veg.Everything cooks fast and even and it is so much less hassle than using a grill or pan on your cooker. I used to use my cooker grill to make bacon but it took time to heat up and cook, the griddle heats up very quickly and what I really like is that I can put bacon on it that has not been trimmed and the fat just falls off!Highly recommended, most of the other George Foreman grills do not have a griddle, I would highly recommend getting a grill/griddle combination for the versatility!

4Thumbs up to George

This was my very first George Foreman grill - never having possessed any 'health' grill previously. I bought it when my kitchen was being renovated last year and I didn't have any cooking facilities for a few weeks, and I can honestly say I have never regretted it. Cooks almost anything - sausages, fried eggs, vegetables, tomatoes, potatoes, chips - delicious toast and cheese, although it can get a bit messy. So although I have a brand new cooker, George still provides me with some quick meals. The plates heat up very quickly, but I usually stick to the one or two setting - it goes to three max and there are separate controls for each section. It can become dirty depending on what you are cooking but it is very easy to clean. A word of warning, the plates do get very hot and as the open hotplate is exposed, it is essential to keep oven gloves handy, and the fingers of small children away.

4fry it.

a superb piece of equipment. cooks eggs majestically.only minor drawbacks are that due to the griddle the grill isn't as big as the 'grill only' models and the driptray doesn't 'slot' into a position so if you knock it acidentally they'll be fat over the worktops.one tip - manufacturer recommends cleaning with non-abrasive materials, the foreman sponges too (which aren't excessively expensive). However, i find the best way is too just turn it on to medium heat, leae it a few mins and then wipe it with kitchen roll and it'll just glide off (this is the same for any non-stick surface that gets a bit gunky). Be careful though as obviously it will be very hot.
