Not bad at all.
By Mr. T. Tsuchiya
I was comparing both 6000+ and 5000+ but chose this one finally. The reason is that although 6000+ is 3.0Ghz, the price doesn't worth it while 5000+ has 2.6Ghz. The difference between them is that 6000+ has a bit more of L2 Cache and 400mhz more than 5000+ but the price vary so much. So i bought this and been used for like 5 month now but no lags and no problems at all. I strongly recommend to install Dual core CPU driver from AMD website to enhance performance a bit more. I would stick with this and when 6000+ lower their prices till it's worth having, i will switch to 6000+ but to be honest, this CPU is damn fast. If you want to get fast CPU with low budget and if you are not the speed enthusiast(like highend gamers), i strongly recommend this. If you have this CPU already, stick with this for a moment.

Fantastic Value
By Sarah Larsen
One thing you should know before buying this, is that it comes with it's own fan/heatsink. Other than that the value is obvious, and it has more than enough power for anything other than high end gaming.

Amd Athlon 64 X2 5000+
By Dr Krogen
Unlike the somewhat expensive Intel chips I choose AMD again to go with my setup (His 4850 Turbo, 2Gig ram, Asus MB). If it can play Crysis/warhead at max settings at 1280x1024 resolution than its fast enough for me.
