I have recently purchased this machine. Have made lots of cakes and dough and can now make lovely home made bread without getting my hands all sticky and the kitchen covered in flour! Pastry and cakes are lovely and so easy. Great making pizza dough and they taste so much better than the frozen pizzas and you know what has gone in to your food! Mash potato and carrot and turnip all come out lovely and mashed! Looked at buying the patissieur as didn't really want all the additions other than the basic machine but it was too tall for my kitchen, this machine is smaller and fits in great. I am really pleased with my purchase and recommend this machine to anyone.

I have looked at Kenwood Chefs for a long time but never bought one because they were a) too big for my kitchen and b) WAY too expensive. In March this year I had my kitchen updated...thus the space - and in April Amazon had a "Deal of the Week" on this Kenwood Chef - well it was just meant to be. Since it arrived (within 24 hours of ordering - and that was with free Supersaver delivery) I have used it almost every day. I bake cakes which are turning out just perfect mixed in the Kenwood Chef -the splashguard is great when adding flour and icing sugar. Makes excellent pastry and shortbread too. I love the fact that you can put the ingredients in, switch it on and leave it for a minute or two to get on with its job - previously I used a handheld beater. I hardly know myself! I have also started baking bread - due only to the fact that a Dough Hook came with the machine - yummy!! And the liquidiser I have been using for fruit smoothies every evening. I would rate this machine as 10/10 - I am delighted with it. I want an ice cream maker attachment for it now - although I think I may have to buy some willpower as well!

After being disappointed by a Kenwood Multipro, which seemed to start falling apart as soon as I got it out of the box, I had decided to bite the bullet, spend a bit more and get the real thing.The price for this machine is excellent and the difference in build quality and performance between this and smaller food processors is enormous. In the silver the machine also looks contemporary enough and is proof that good classic design doesn't date.I got the high speed shredder/slicer attachment and was expecting it to perform like the multipro did as the dics look the same - wrong! I couldn't believe the chopping speed. Overall I'm thrilled, I always wanted one and the prices now make them the perfect buy in my opinion.
