5Henry turbo
By Delfhill
We have had 2 ordinary Henrys in the past, both still working very well, but used now in a workshop. We stopped using them in the house because of the smell they created, possibly as we have a dog, and they never seemed to pick up dog hairs from the carpet very well.We then bought a fragile Dyson, followed by a Hoover whose undercarriage broke within a few months and was not covered by guarantee. So back to a Henry which seem to last forever, but which one? Well I'm very pleased we spent the extra on the Turbo, it overcomes both the previous problems. No smell at all with the extra filters and the powered head picks up everything on the carpet very efficiently. Having used it now for 2 months we are very satisfied. Interestingly our daughter recently purchased a standard Henry and again has the problem of stale smells when using it, but has no dogs to blame. The charcoal filter really does seem important.

5So much better than Dyson
By D. P. Robertson
Prior to purchasing a Henry, I had used a succession of Dyson vacuum cleaners. I can only think that Dyson's marketing hype must have been very persuasive - I can't think of any other reason why I would have soldiered on with a series of nearly useless products that variously (i) delivered poor suction, (ii) smelled of burning after a few minutes use, and (iii) fell apart. By comparison, the Henry is a breath of fresh air. It has ample suction, large dust storage capacity, and seems very well built. My only minor complaint about the model I purchased is that the hose nozzle has a bulky rectangular connector at the end (i.e. it is not of the simple cylindrical design used by some other manufacturers) - so that it is hard to use the nozzle minus its attachment as a means of reaching into corners. Still five out of five because of the favourable comparison with the Dyson.

5Henry the hoover
By South West Bill
Great little cleaner. Loads of suction and the bags hold an incredible amount of waste. The turbo was a good buy as it picks up cat hair and dog hair with ease (and my dog moults a lot!)The only niggle I have is that sometimes the revolving brush in the head cuts out. Jiggling the hoses and connections usually restores it though. Perhaps I just have a slightly faulty connection in the hoses somewhere.Great vacuum cleaner though and, should the need arise I'd buy another one.
