A muist have purchase
By Norman
My first buy of expensive DJ headphones, and I can honestly say WELL WORTH THE MONEY.Even from other DJ friends that had the previous HDJ unit, these are far superior. With tilting ear cups, and great sound and build quality ... I am so IN LOVE with these headphones.A must have for any DJ

best 4 djing
By barb
Great frequency responce, desibel level good enough to work in a big club.at max volume level u can hear bass level frequencies good enough.thats important for a professional djs to mix tracks.u cant say its bad if its original of course.only 1 bad thing about this product is plastic case.they get broke in 1-2 years if u use it in djing.if u r dj and know the sound u can trust pioneer

Worse than Sony MDR headphones at twice the price
By Joc
Bought these as my Sony MDR-V700D were on the way out after some solid 3 year's use and expected an improvement in sound for my money. Sadly the sound is on a par with a fairly cheap pair of inner ear headphones. No bass, tinny treble and overall weak output causing you to up the volume beyond comfortable for any kind of clarity. The noise cancelling is worse than the aforementioned Sony's as well and the lack of full ear coverage exacerbates this. This basically makes them useless for live djing. Don't waste your money. In summary: Worse headphones than a pair of knackered 3 year old Sony MDRs and paying twice the price for the privilege.
