Making Ice Cream and Having Fun

My daughter wanted one of these for Christmas. It does take about 20 minutes to make and it is noisy but that just adds to the attraction for a seven year-old!Two things to bear in mind:1. The instructions are in American volume measures. Their pint is about 16 fluid ounces or 473 millilitres.2. The whole business needs to be kept in the kitchen. We got a bit of sugar stuck in the lid thread and cream began to leak out!

bought this for my little brother he absolutely LOVED IT!!!!ok sure it makes a a lot of noise - kids love it !yeah you need quite a bit of ice - eerrr... costs you nothing to get water from your tap and stick it in ice cube traysyeah it takes 20 -30min of rolling the ball round keep your kids active making it a fun treat rather than them sat in front of a computer gameyeah it doesnt come out like rock solid walls ice cream but if thats what you want get to the shop and stop complaining!!!mum and dad loved it. little bro thought it was great to make and then eat his OWN ice cream and I'm still the cool big sister who buys awesome presentsgreat summer treat!!!!!!

I bought this for my Niece who is 9 and she absolutely loves it, her dad who is a chef was also very impressed. I havent seen it work or how the ice cream turns out for myself, but he told me it's the best non electrical ice cream maker he's ever used. It's fun for the kids to shake around and even my sister whose well into her fitness can do a few work out sessions using the ball all the while the ice cream is being churned inside. It comes out really lovely and you can add whatever falvours to it that you want, and you can stay away from dairy and nuts if your kids have allergy's. All in all a great buy for a great price!
