Lovely doll but some disappointments

We chose the doll for my three year old daughter. Unfortunately when we opened the box, we found the battery compartment cover was missing. However, in all fairness, we contacted Amazon and Corolle, both of whom responded well to this very quickly.It's now a couple of months on and we've been mostly happy with the doll ... although be warned she starts to cry if you can't find her special spoon or her special potty when she says she's hungry or needs the potty! My daughter can find this a bit upsetting.However, this week the bracelet to make the doll speak in English has split so that it doesn't stay on the doll's wrist. (I'm going to get in touch with Corolle for a replacement today and I'm sure they'll send a new one, but I could do without the fuss.)Maybe this request for a review has just caught me at a bad time but it's an expensive doll and I'd have expected it to be more durable.

Gorgeous doll to the usual high standard expected from Corolle.Her speech is clear and easy to understand and the bracelet is easy to add to her wrist.My daughter is going to love it :o)

I did allot of research on interactive dolls before finally purchasing the Corolle Lea doll and I am really happy with my final decision. My daughter received Lea for her 3rd Birthday and took to her straight away. All of the functions are great and she is a nice looking doll not a creepy looking like some of the other dolls on the market. I know that some of the negative comments I read prior to purchasing the doll stated that the crying was annoying and upset there child when they could not attend to the doll quick enough however, I have not found this to be a problem at all. My daughter does not mind it when she cries. I guess it just depends on the child. The crying stops after a few minutes anyway if the doll is unattended to. I am due to have a baby in a couple of weeks and feel that this doll will be a great for when the baby arrives. I would definitely recommend this doll to a friend. I love it and wish I had one when I was a kid. :)
