Smart digital/analogue watch

The watch I use for work recently started losing the date and time, even though it had had a recent battery change. So decided to look for a new cheap work watch that had digital and analogue functions. This watch caught my attention as it had these in a stainless steel case and bracelet, and the date could easily be seen in the digital display. I also liked the way the bracelet integrated into the case.Its been many years since I last owned a Casio watch, and those used to be the full digital, resin strap and case ones. So this all metal model is a first for me. I was a bit disappointed with the box it came in, and there was no presentation box to store it in. But I guess what can you expect for this price! The styling of the watch is very smart, and makes the watch look more expensive, particularly the carbon fibre effect piece in the dial face. Having read reviews of other Casio watches having resin cases painted to look metal, I was relieved to find this watch is all metal. I had also seen reviews of other Casio's stating difficulty in altering the time, but I encountered no issues, with hour and minute adjustment capable of being made backwards and forwards. The only problem I did find was trying to remove links from the bracelet, usually I have managed this with no problems on other watches. But with this I had great difficulty and even managed to damage one of the links in the process, so would recommend getting it adjusted at a local jewellers.Once setup and fitted the size of the case and watch face was just the right size for my small wrist, although the thickness of the case does make it look a bit chunky.This watch has all the usual features such as stopwatch, alarms, hourly chime and countdown timer, but it also has world time and telememo features. Which probably arent much use when you have a mobile phone but could be if the mobile battery is flat! I was slightly disappointed with the light on the watch as was expecting the nice digital display lighting you get on watches these days, instead it is the old style light around the edge of the watch face.Small niggles aside, this is a very good, relatively inexpensive watch that being a Casio should be very reliable.
