Bed safety rail

The product seemed well built and quite satisfactory in principle. Assembly straightforward, fitted onto a slatted bed with minor adaptation, and the result was sturdy.It was bought after wife fell out of bed in the middle of the night. However after installing it [following her request], she then complained of claustrophobia. I reduced the height with a hacksaw. This was relatively straightforward, it was possible to get a neat result, and the hinged down part did not drag on the floor.She still, after this, had claustrophobia problems so we had to discard it and accept the risk of further falls.I must emphasise that this is no fault of the product [ I gave it four stars as a piece of kit], but potential purchasers will need to weigh up possible 'patient' reaction.
