Textbook Crash, Great Value For Money!

As the proud owner of one of these crashes for a couple of years now, I'd like to let anybody interested in checking Stagg cymbals out that these are fantastic sounding cymbals and having done a test with a friend's 16" Zildjian K Dark Medium-Thin Crash in a studio, that these cymbals can certainly stand up to the big boys for a fraction of the price!In fact I play a full set of the SH line by Stagg, and their versatility continues to shine through in every situation, as I play a lot of varying genres in both live and studio situations and they deliver every time, they even get regular compliments from sound technicians as being very easy to work with, great sounding cymbals.The only thing I'd like to point out is that when purchasing Stagg cymbals, their weight branding isn't quite the same as the major companies in that they're normally one notch down from what they say they are in weight when compared to cymbals by the major manufacturers. For example here where they specify "Medium", this cymbal is nearer to a "Medium-Thin" cymbal by Zildjian's or Sabian's standards. Just something to bear in mind!Try or buy one when you can, you won't be disappointed! :-)
