Good for levelling but not stud and wire detection

This is great for getting a red laser line that is perfectly level - especially over long distances.This product is quite poor at stud detection. You constantly have to recalibrate, it gives false positives and false negatives. It's electrical wire detection seems random.I would not recommend this for anything other than levelling.

the stud and metal detections seems ok, (although i strongly recommend to re-scan the surface 5 or 6 times, as i have a few random detections...)the live wire detection is .... pretty much useless...if there was as many wires as the product detects, it would be a spider web shape of live cable behind my wall. and i am 100% sure it is not...

On The Level

I purchased this item as my husband was due to install a curtain pole and we wanted it to be correctly levelled first time out. It was easy to use and will certainly be useful for many other levelling jobs.
