Excellent product - highly recommended. Installation was simple and the device does exactly what I want. Printer is linked directly to the device and the device then to the two computers. Either computer can then print to the printer directly. If the device is set to print from the other computer, it automatically switches over to the desired computer when it receives the 'print' signal from the desired computer and a series of beeps tell you that the device is switching over. When a 'print' signal is later sent from the original computer, it automatically switches back again - again beeping to tell you that it is switching over. I use it with one machine using XP and the other using Vista.
