These shoes were the anser to my prayers. I was having a lot of trouble with my feet and wore Birkenstock sandals in the summer. These are a perfect for the winter with all the foot advantages of the sandals.

The price is a bit daunting and I struggled a bit justifying getting them, but I decided to and I've never been happier with a pair of shoes in my life! I can walk ALL DAY in these and my feet never get tired. While walking I feel actually pounds lighter ... I don't know exactly why that is because there is no really detectable cushioning in the shoes. The spring is in my legs. It was raining the other day so i wore a pair of boots I wore all last year. The difference between my feet at the end of the day and at the end of the day with these shoes was remarkable. Boots = tired, leaden, Shoes = perfectly contented feet, still springy, could go on walking for hours more.Besides the price the only other conflict i had was deciding on the color. I finally bought the black ones. Now i think I'll get the brown ones for Christmas. I like them so much I'm going to learn how to knit mad/crazy wool socks to wear with them. :D
