Amazing looks, amazing sound!

I bought this machine from littlewoods on a purely aesthetic basis and brand trust. I was expecting a pretty decent sounding micro system that happened to look stunning, what I didn't expect was to be completely blown away by the detailed and sumptuous quality of the sound, I mean seriously, as someone who has experience with budget and mid range hi-fi separates I was and still am completely blown away. This system I think will worry systems costing twice as much. At lower volumes everything sounds crisp and the stereo imaging is excellent but when you crank the volume the sound never once starts to faulter. There is no bass boom and the treble remains sweet. The mid range performance is particularly notable with vocals being well projected and sounding remarkably realistic. I have made these comments with the system EQ set to flat with none of the bass reinforcement etc turned on. Good tuner too, locks onto stations firmly and has full RDS functionality. Add to that a USB host function, a pair of RCA auxiliary sockets to the rear and touch sensitive controls and this is, in my opinion, the bargain of the year!

I bought this set just after the New Year. The two main reasons: sound quality and fantastic look. The positive reviews by others on the internet are not exaggerated in any way. Very happy with this purchase.

i agree with all the previous comments..a good purchase..the only problem is the fan is audible when the volume is at low level
