this item seemed a lil pricey at first and I was worried it wouldn't take the weight of 3 cats, I was definatley wrong, the whole tree is very sturdy and safe, I have had 2 cats on the top platform playing, the box bed areas are a good size, and the steps are actually being used, I thought My cats would just jump, but no they use it properly, the hammock has yet to be used though. This item is worth it's money it will be sturdy enough for most cats and my cats love playing with it, even my 11 year old one. plenty of entertainment for cats and their servants. easy to assemble also, but be warned the cats will help you if you let them in whilst you are fixing the tree.

This seems relatively pricey, but its a solid piece of kit. It needed two to put it together and move safely, as its enormous-about 5 foot wide by 4 foot high. It was easy enough to put together-an allan key is included and it doesn't need any special equipment. It appears well finished, and the beige plush material is soft and neutral. The cat loves it!
