This height adjustable toilet frame is made from tubular steel with padded armrests and has a unique way to keep it steady in use. The frame locks open when unfolded and has a footplate to stabilise the front frame when the users weight presses on them. Easily folded for transportation.

Improved version

NB This is a review of the improved version of the design rather than the one in the present illustration [2010-07-12]. Before writing this review I checked with the seller/manufacturer that the new version would be supplied in future.The new design has:1) Thicker and better quality arm-rests, now fitted on top of the tubes. (The previous ones were thin and spongy, and they were wrapped around the tubes).2) A one-piece footrest. (The previous version had two pieces that met in the middle, which obviously provided less rigidity).3) a locking mechanism that works automatically when the frame is opened out. (The previous version had to be manually locked, and it would have been possible for someone to forget to do it).A notable advantage of this design is its lack of the high front cross-bar that prevents other frames from being used with some toilets. Consequently, this frame probably saved my elderly father (for whom I bought it) from having to buy a new toilet in order to accommodate a standard frame.In use it seems fine.

Brought this item for my Dad who was having trouble getting up when seated. We were going to stay with family so needed a portable item. The Buckingham Fold easy is very good and we were really pleased. It is strong, stable and folds up to fit in the car boot. It is adjustable in height. My Dad uses it at home all the time and is very pleased with it.

I bought this item to assist my mother when she broke her arm. It has proved very flexible and has fitted the loos in each of my brothers and sisters' houses. It is straigh forward to install and has proved a great success
