Amazing bass for such a compact sub

I purchased this unit because i wanted to add some powerful bass to the existing 4 speaker set-up on my honda prelude. my requirements were as follows:1. an active sub that was easy to install2. something that would fit in the cabin3. a unit that would provide quality powerful bass at reasonable listening volumes.i'm pleased to say this pioneer sub met all my requirements and ended up exceeding my expectations. the installation was simple and the unit sits snuggle behind the two passenger seats (you can also go under seat if you want). just a case of connecting a power lead to your battery and rf lead to your head unit. simple.the sound from this unit is absolutely amazing. ok, it dosen't have the same kick as a 12 inch trunk sub but the fact it's installed in the cabin means it arguably has just as good if not better bass quality. there's no horrible trunk or window rattling like you get from a trunk sub....just clear punching bass waves fired right at the listeners.to clarify this point somewhat...if you're out to install a bass unit that sends more bass outside the car than inside....dont't get this unit. clearly you're looking for a trunk sub in that case. but for thsoe more interested in impressing their own ears instead of the neighbours this sub fits the bill.the unit will distort if volume is REALLY cranked up but then so will your other speakers so thats a mute point. the only stuff it dosent handle so well are really low resonating frequencies like you'd get from some opera stuff or extremely bassy hip hop. but for 99% of applications (house, techno, rock, aucoustic) it's perfect...

I purchased this subwoofer as I was looking for a better Bass sound from my Sony stereo and speakers in my mx5. I was looking for a reasonable price, easily installed compact unit, the TS-WX 11A ticked all the boxes. I'm not dissapointed, it does the job perfectly. This is not a massive sub to wake the neighbours, you are not going to win any MAX POWER street bass competitions but the unit works well giving my stereo that bit extra punch needed!

I've recently had this fitted in my Suzuki Swift and I have to say it's a great little sub. Sounds nice and bassy, fits away under the seat and even comes with a remote to adjust the bass level.Despite the fact that this is now the older model of stealth subwoofer, it's definitely still worth a look. You would not be disappointed with it, I know i'm not!
