Telescope

This is for a first time user and it couldn't be simpler in setting it up. It's a lot bigger than it looks in the picture but there isn't the weight of a highly expensive telescope to cope with. Uncomplicated but effective and great for the novice.

Not bad, but came broken

Yeah, one of the eye piece brackets came cross threaded - a serious flaw in the projection of the image. If it isn't at a clear 90 degree angle to the eye piece prism, the image will be defused. I managed to fix this, and gave 'Avida' a bad review for selling this as 'used' - told them I fixed it and they were all of a sudden keen for a return. Well bugger off 'Avida', I'm not making you money on top of that rip off, how stupid do you think I am? The telescope is damned powerful, but seriously - think about this before you buy it. We live in a bad country for light polution, and the weather rarely gives clear skies so I f you buy a telescope, prepare for having a year long ornament in your home which rarely will be used.
