Great little sucker...

I have been using this unit with a 14" bandsaw and have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by it's quality.The suction is great and since using this I no longer have to vac out the machinery at the end of every session which is great news. Other machines I have tried either did not have enough suction or would only filter either fine dust or chips but not both. This Draper Cyclone unit is happy with both.I have also been using the machine on a bobbin sander by sticking the 100mm hose next to the bobbin. Despite being 4-5 inches from the work piece I can still see the fine wood dust being sucked away. My only complaint is that one a single size hose is supplied, it would be nice to have an smaller hose as well for smaller machines (like the bobbin sander) and for using as a shop vac (I just use the 100mm hose at the moment which still works well but the large diameter is cumbersome).Plus points: great suction for large chips down to fine dust, comes with spare filtersNegative points: somewhat noisy and the hot air blowing out can make the workshop rather warm - I have not marked down for this because all decent shop vacs have these traits!
