So saw away some branches to set up the perfect picnic spot, tighten up those picnic chair bolts, bring out the vino and slice up some cheese and crackers. The 25 years manufacturer's warranty says it all ...!

I purchased this item for a friend last Christmas and it has been a godsend for all sorts of odd jobs around the house. The diamond file and scissors have been used to great effect on snagged fingernails in the absence of an emery board when out and about on our travels! A word of caution - some of the tools are more difficult to extract than others, particularly the knife which is incredibly sharp - presumably this is due to the item's relative newness and we expect that to ease over time.The Juice is truly multi-functional, robust, relatively lightweight and comfortable to hold - excellent value for money - highly recommended.I also bought the Leatherman small pouch - it's a perfect fit and the leather is soft and pliable plus there's a clip on the back if required. Having searched Amazon, the best deal for this was found on the Leatherman website (at that time) although the Juice was cheaper on Amazon - so worth shopping around!

I bought my first XE6 in 2004. I was looking for a pocket knife that was both small and packed with different tools, and my search brought me to the XE6.The pliers broke in 2006 after much use. I was delighted when Leatherman agreed to replace the multitool for free under their warranty policy.My second XE6 lasted until January 2012 when I lost it. Having searched everywhere, and waited two months for it to re-surface, I have now concluded that some lucky person has found my old knife and that I will not see it again.So I set about looking over the multi tool market and was surprised to see nothing that comes close to the XE6 - Why has no one tried to do something similar?And so I have just taken delivery of my third XE6. One minor design change since the 2006 version is the coloured side plates, which now have a better fit. Everything else seems the same.I am looking forward to more years of use and adventure.... A great design!
