Transformed our garage!
By Ianski
I bought two of these (and two 1,200mm wide) to finally sort out my garage after a mere four years of moving in. Previous temporary units were 300mm deep, but I went for the 600mm depth to make the most of the storage (doubled storage space from the same width).+ Very stable based on the depth (even if not secured against the wall)+ Shelves seem very strong (it's not recommended, but I stood on one to get to the top and no issue holding my weight)+ Fairly straightforward to put up (with a couple of exceptions below)The reason it loses a star is that it is in two 900mm high sections with a joining section (rather than one 1,800mm section). Following the instructions you make both halves up and then attach them made up which was incredibly fiddly to get all four corners properly aligned. After a little trial and error, my suggestion to get round this is to:1) make up the base section2) attach the four extra corner sections for the upper shelves3) attach the shelf support struts4) I'd also make sure you put the shelf bases on as you build or you may get into a position where you've made up the frame and can't fit the shelf base in and have to dismantle parts! Finally, you will definitely need a rubber mallet that you don't mind a few dents in as it's hammering some fairly sharp edges.Overall, this unit at 600mm depth has transformed the garage space!
