Great Reading Lamp

We bought this lamp Mother And Child Floor Lamp Satin Brass 1X300 And 1X50 Watt Halogen Lamps. Dimmer Controlled so we could have a really good reading lamp in our lounge. Our elderly neighbour had something similar and uses it all the time. After it arrived it stayed in the box for ages, but when I opened it I found it easy to assemble - although care must be taken when installing the halogen bulbs: use tissue or cloth to handle the glass - and now it is great: bright, dimmer knob for both lights, and when reading it's so easy to adjust the amount of light either reflected off the ceiling or direct from the 'child' lamp. We're getting another one for my mother-in-law who has poor eyesight.

The lamp arrived promptly and was in good order although the CityLink driver did have to point out to me that the box was open at one end. However, there was no damage done and the lamp was very easy to put together. Very pleased with the look and quality of the product especially the fact that both lamps can be switched on or off and dimmed independently.

this is the second one of this type i have purchased but this time there is a dimmer switch on the lower light is a splendid addition to the product
