Good system for those on a budget

I got this system a few months and it's still going strong.Via component 1 I have 360 with digital audio, PS2 with digital audio, Wii with analogue audio (all through a component switcher) and an upscaling DVD player with coaxial audio through component 2.I have the TV connected through digital audio.Pros:Price - good price for an entry level systemQuite a few inputsNice looking device also - the speakers are quite neatSounds great - I have it in a pretty big living room, and it sounds grand to my earsCons:The bass isn't great. I had to turn it down as it was vibrating, but even with it down a bit lower, it still fills the room with sound.It took quite a while to get it set up, with certain audio options only available in certain configurations. A bit of fiddling will get it sorted though.Overall, a great system for those who want surround for DVD and games systems and who already have a decent DVD player.

Very Useful for Multi Screen and Multi Device

I bought one of these and it fits my needs perfectly.I have 2 PS3s attached, 1 Xbox 360, 1 Wii and a TV Tuner. On the out I have 2 LCDs and a Projector. I can select which Machine passes the sound into the System and pass through the image of all systems at the same time on to various screens.The system has 2 to 1 HDMI.It has 2 to 1 Component Video.It has 3 to 1 S-Video.It has 3 to 1 Video (yellow only)For Sound it has 2 Optical, 1 Digital Coaxial and 3 Stereo.Thing to note.1) The video in and outs act as a Bridge, so you can not pass in S-Video and pass out along the Component output. There is NO monitor as many systems have. So if you have one screen and multiple inputs you need to run leads from the System for each output type.2) It does not carry HDMI sound. It will pass image only, for HDMI devices such as the PS3 you will need to take the sound out with an Optical cable into the system.Hope this helps.

Got this to compliment a new 32inch LCD HDTV for my room and it sounds incredible. Cystal clear sound and solid bass sound awesome with a hooked up Xbox 360 and DVD player. For people who are wondering about Xbox compatabiity as far as i know (i needed) and you will need an xbox 360 hd cable with optical out and an optical cable if u want this system to produce surround for your xbox. The only reason i didnt give this 5 stars is because of its ease of use and still havent figured how to change half the settings-ive only managed to figure out how to adjust the level of each speaker which is very handy; however on sound alone i would give this five stars. Overall a great system for a good price, its brilliant for gaming BF Badcompamy and left 4 dead sound incredible. Get this you wont be dissapointed!
